Who are you?

What you'll be doing:

You're role is to deliver strategies to ensure we are attracting, onboarding and retaining the best people and can continue to do so at 10x and 100x.

  • You will be heading up our Hero community by building and engaging them, inspiring social change and creating social impact.
  • Be a core advocate of the Hero. Implementing an incredible user journey that keeps them active and engaged in the community.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for exposure and recruitment.
  • Constantly refine and improve the onboarding process with a strategy and road map in line with KPIs and goals.
  • Review profiles and conduct group interviews to make decisions about people. Creating and executing on strategies to do this at scale.
  • Risk management, including keeping up to date with government regulations and industry and other requirements.

Digital Marketing Coordinator (Content)


We're looking for a passionate, and dedicated marketer to help take our startup to the next level. There are some huge challenges innovating growth in this sector and you're the person to tackle this!

This is a generalist marketing role for someone who doesn't want to be tied down to one speciality and your role will grow as much as you make it. So if you're hard-working, creative and ambitious, this is the role & place for you!

Responsibilities:

Your main role is to drive growth and engagement using your storytelling prowess with various content channels:

  • Photography and video - filming and editing
  • Blog content and landing pages
  • Social media marketing - content calendars and campaigns
  • Newsletter and email marketing
  • Research and provide fun, fresh and creative thinking with an original approach to content.
  • Closely monitor, measure and learn from both quantitative and qualitative results.

Senior Rails Developer


We are looking for an opinionated Senior Rails developer to help take us to the next stage in our technology stack!

We have a Rails application where the front end is soon to be integrated with React. Initial work will involve helping with the integration process and developing an existing API to present our business logic to our mobile apps.

Once integration has been accomplished, we will be looking to scale - ideally you will have knowledge of scaling Rails applications. You will be joining a small, (but growing) passionate team of developers.

You will be heavily involved in solving the many puzzles that face a scaling marketplace. Some of the more interesting problems include matching algorithms for our Members and Heroes and working on administrative tools that will help the operations team to answer BI questions. The entire operations staff is data focused, so if you can help present insights to our team, you will be well liked!

We take tech debt very seriously and assign time to reduce it. Code quality and architecture is important and we take measures to ensure we develop using the same principles. We are always striving for 100% test coverage.

Customer Success Lead


We’re looking for an experienced customer service/success pro to actively engage and shape our customer operations. You’ll be managing the day-to-day service needs and developing an out of this world customer experience.

What you'll be doing..

  • You will own customer service, working in the Operations team with our COO and Product Manager. As a team you will define and manage customer experience to drive conversion and retention.
  • Provide effective and efficient first call resolution to a variety of stakeholders over the phone, email or via online chat (must be comfortable with between 50-60 tickets or calls per day). Managing escalations and seeking to resolve them to the satisfaction of the customer.
  • Become an advocate for our customer - building relationships and supporting them – identifying issues so we can cater better to their needs.
  • Convert potential customers and onboard new customers, through both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Collect user feedback and data, review user experience and provide data driven & qualitative insights and improvements for our systems, processes and procedures.
  • Create processes and protocols to embed the best experience possible, as well as taking into account scaleable solutions including creating FAQs and automatic emails

Junior - Mid React JS OR React Native Developer


We are in the process of moving from a complete RoR stack to React Native and a React JS frontend. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the build of a React codebase from the beginning!

You will be involved in the design and build of React components that will be used on both the front end of the website and mobile apps on Android and iOS. Consistency and reuse is king!

Our lead front end developer is a React wizz with 14 years development experience. He also used to teach, so this is a great opportunity to learn. We hold frequent training sessions so you have the opportunity to up-skill.

If you are a React JS developer then this is an opportunity to learn React Native and mobile app development.
